From trimming branches and cutting down fruit trees or building a gazebo, to cutting fire and small wood, the MTD ECS 20/40 electric chainsaw is suited to many tasks within cable-reach of the house. Powerful and zero-emission, it is a real alternative to a petrol chainsaw.

Powered by an 2000 watt motor, the MTD ECS 20/40 delivers efficient cutting power and excellent results, cutting through wood effortlessly with its 40cm guide bar. The chainsaw is equipped with guide bar and 3/8" mini chain from leading manufacturer Oregon. It has a metal claw and a tool-free chain tensioning device; by simply turning the chain tensioner in the desired direction, it is optimally tightened in just one step.

Reduced vibrations from the handle which has a partly rubber covering, an ergonomic build, an engine casing made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic, together with a slim, well-balanced body are additional deciding factors that speak for the MTD ECS 20/40 chainsaw. It also has a quick-stop chain brake and can only be started in two-hand operation. Fitted with a level indicator for the chain oiltank, a strain relief for the extension cord makes work easier.

Weighing just 5.1kg, the MTD ECS 20/40 has easy to read symbols on the chainsaw to make handling easier and the signal colour red makes it highly visible at all times.
