Lazer lawn scarfiers are powerful, robust machines designed with fully adjustable scarifying action to suit individual conditions and take the hard work out of lawn care.

The S393B is powered by an easy to start, reliable 475 Series Briggs & Stratton engine. It has a 40cm/18" working width, and is fitted with a large, 50 litre capacity, thatch collection bag. If required, the machine can be used without the collection bag as a safety deflector guard covers the discharge chute. The steel deck has a hard wearing powder-coated paint finish and is extremely durable. WHEN AND WHY TO SCARIFY .....

Scarifying undoubtedly improves the quality of your lawn in several ways by:-

retarding the growth of weeds such as dandelions and plantains
assisting in removing clover, pearlwort, yarrow and similar weeds
removing organic layers of thatch and dead grass fibre
breaking up the top surface layer of harder soils

Removing weeds and thatch in this way allows water, air and nutrients to reach grass roots more easily. This, in turn, will result in optimum growing conditions and transform your lawn into a lush green sward with few, if any weeds.

For best results, you should commence scarifying in late spring. Continue with regular, light treatments throughout the growing season, from late March to mid October. A scarifier allows you to achieve a high quality lawn, without the use of chemical treatments.
