The Westwood V23-50D is a powerful yet economical diesel-engined lawn tractor. Powered by a three cylinder 784cc Yanmar diesel engine with hydrostatic transmission, the cutting height can be adjusted from 12mm to 101mm through ten incremental settings using the manual height adjustment lever.

Westwood equips all its tractors with revolutionary noise reducing, double-skinned bonnets. Power to drive the grass collector and accessories is taken directly from the engine. An important safety feature is the park brake which prevents the lawn tractor from being started unless the brake is engaged.

Equipped with the standard 50" / 127cm Combi Deck, the Wetswood V23-50D produces the 'trademark' Westwood manicured finish - either cutting for collection or mulching the grass into fine particles that are absorbed back into the turf. The V23-50D can speed through a large formal lawn in a fraction of the time of other ride-on lawn mowers.

For paddocks and small meadows, the optional 42" / 107cm High Grass Mulching Deck tackles the tallest grass, nettles and brambles - reducing them to a mulch.

Westwood are unique in being the only tractors that can create the stripe for that perfect finish. To achieve this finish you will require the Westwood 390 litre Powered Grass Collector, sold as an optional extra. This uses brushes driven by the engine to sweep the grass and collect the grass clippings, while the roller gives the stripes. The generous Powered Grass Collector also has the added advantage of being ideal to clear the leaves up in the autumn.

Push-button lifting and emptying of the grass collector means that, when you do have to empty the cuttings, the process could not be easier. Simply reverse up to the compost heap, press and hold the empty button and the V23-50D does the rest for you - expelling all the compacted grass effortlessly.
