Agri-Fab has gone back to the drawing board to design the new Agri-Fab SmartSWEEP 44" Towed Leaf Sweeper, addressing many existing problems that hinder the performance of conventional towed leaf sweepers; multiple patents have been obtained to make the Agri-Fab SmartSWEEP 44" Towed Leaf Sweeper the best performing leaf sweeper within its class.

A number one complaint from users of towed sweepers in the past has been centred round the annoying habit of sweepers skipping whilst in motion thus missing areas of debris, requiring a second run to collect this 'left behind' detritus; Agri-Fab has corrected this fault with a sweeper that no longer skips, guaranteed. Another exclusive from Agri-Fab is the offset hitch design allowing the unit to be used away from the tractor, expanding the range of uses and making clearing up alongside obstacles much easier. A large hopper of 0.7 cubic metres will lessen down time caused by emptying, made simpler with the newly designed ergonomic dumping handle; when not in use the hopper is easily removed allowing the sweeper to be collapsed for easy storage. LEAVES - TO SWEEP OR NOT TO SWEEP?

Autumn leaves are beautiful on the trees, but can be a lot of work once they hit the ground. Instead of raking all season long, here are a couple of ideas:

Mulch leaves into the lawn
If you have just a light, dry layer of leaves, you can use a mulching mower to mow them into a nutrient-rich meal for your lawn. Simply leave the finely chopped up leaves on the grass and they will settle in and decompose.

Sweep instead of raking
Use a lawn sweeper to quickly pick up leaves. You can either mow over them to break them down first, or simply sweep them up whole.

What do I do with all these leaves?
Add them to your compost pile. Put them on your vegetable garden, to be tilled into the soil. Use them as winter protection for roses and other tender bushes - cage the plant and fill with dry leaves. Use them as mulch around shrubs and perennial gardens. Call your community waste disposal company to come and collect your bagged or piled up leaves.

Great product and outstanding service

The machine is robustly made and was easy to assemble. The fully height adjustable towbar is a very ingenious feature, allowing the machine to be used with a wide variety of mowers. The sweeping performance is excellent and the contents of the bag can be dumped without getting off the tractor - nice feature. The 44 inch sweep is ideal for big gardens. Highly recommended.

Smart SWEEPER

This is a very very good machine, very high quaility. You can tell it's built to last and the price is worth paying - money well spent. It collects grass no problem. I asked the retailer if it would collect grass OK. He said it's meant for collecting leaves and twigs, but hey it gets everything! So if you want a towed sweeper, get this one - its great, I'm really pleased with it, thank you.
