This German-engineered machine is equipped with a quality 2.3kW, 150cc Briggs & Stratton 625EXi Series four-stroke engine which delivers impressive performance. ReadyStart enables easy, reliable ignition, and does away with the need to prime the carburetor. The advanced engineering on the engine also eliminates the need for regular oil changes.

The AL-KO Premium 524 SP-B benefits from self-propulsion which saves the effort of pushing, ensuring quick progress and making it easier to cover slopes. The extra large rear drive wheels enhance manoeuvrabiltiy and traction and are ball-bearing mounted for smooth running and a long service life.

The 51cm (20") MAXAIRFLOW steel cutter deck has an aerodynamic, deep dome design which combines with the large discharge channel resulting in extremely efficient collection into the expansive 70 litre grass collector, with no blockages and less interruptions to empty. The bag full indicator will alert you when the grass catcher is full, which can be quickly and easily removed then reinstalled with help of the AL-KO's EasyClick engagement.

When you have finished the mowing, the AL-KO Premium 524 SP-B petrol rotary lawn mower has an upright storage position for easy access to the mower deck for cleaning and maintenance, which also takes up less room in the shed or garage.

This means the grass catcher is effectively filled from the back, without the discharge channel becoming blocked. Another bonus: The removable service flap for convenient mower maintenance. Full Catcher, Fewer Interruptions MaxAirflow technology means that the lawn clippings are thrown to the back of the grass catcher, as a result of which it is filled to the top and does not have to be emptied so often.
