Masport Rotarola Rear Roller Rotary Lawn Mowers
The Rotarola Range
The Rotarola is and has always been the flagship of the Masport line-up, and the range gives you plenty of options to suit your lawn and your pocket.
Starting with an 46cm/18” push, moving through 46cm/18” self-propelled models, powered by a choice of engines, the Briggs and Stratton Ready Start, Honda GCV, the NEW Loncin OHV and the fabulously ‘user friendly’ Briggs and Stratton INSTART, which features a Lithium-Ion battery, giving you ‘push button’ electric start technology. It doesn’t stop there. For the larger garden, Masport have the 54cm/21.5” self-propelled Rotarolas.
Why a Rear Roller Rotary?
The Rotarola gives you the excellent ‘striped’ finish of a roller mower, combined with the versatile efficiency of a rotary mower. Another great feature - the rear roller (which is steel), allows you to mow over the edge of your lawn, without falling into your flower beds! The roller acts as a stabiliser.
When mowing in wet/damp conditions, grass collection is not hindered. The full-width rear ejection channel really allows that damp grass to ‘fly’ into the catcher. And don’t worry about the moisture ‘rusting away’ the machine body. It’s rustproof alloy! You can also use the 46cm/18” models, without the catcher. The rear flap allows the grass to discharge to the rear of the machine.
Other features include the ‘over centre’ cam-lock handles, making the handles easy to fold for storage or transportation. The ‘Quickcut’ blade system really is the ‘icing on the cake’. Swing Tip Blades and a steel ‘lugged’ blade boss give you engine protection, without compromising air flow, which optimises collection. Some of the key features of the Masport Rotarola that have led to gardeners from all sectors of lawn-care to use Masport mowers for the last 50 years.
