Covid-19 Update: Important Delivery Information
If you have received a despatch notification email from us, your order will be with you shortly. We ask that you allow 4-5 working days after receiving this email before contacting us to chase delivery. This will enable us to most efficiently employ the limited resources of our sales and customer service personnel who are home working.
Please be aware that our distribution warehouses are operating with reduced staff levels and zonal picking, so shipments are taking longer than usual to be picked and despatched, and orders for multiple items will almost certainly arrive on different days. We are currently only being issued with a master consignment number and your tracking link may not live up until the goods are manifested at the collecting depot. If your delivery is coming via Tuffnells, the number we are provided with is unfortunately not trackable. The courier network is also experiencing a higher volume of traffic due to the increase in online orders, so this may also cause delays.

Delivery costs to most United Kingdom mainland addresses are included in the price of our garden machinery products over £50. For garden machine under £50 or accessories & parts the cost of delivery will be calculated in your shopping basket according to the weight of the product and your postcode. Parts and accessories will normally incur a small delivery charge of £6.99.
Additional delivery charges apply to the following areas and this will be calculated in your shopping basket when you input your postcode:-

Whilst there is NO additional charge to deliver to east coast of Scotland postcodes, for courier deliveries under 99kg, please allow up to two working days from date of despatch for your order to arrive.
Smaller items will be despatched by post at no extra charge.

We are unable to deliver our products to locations below as we cannot support them if they become faulty within the warranty period.

OVERSEAS - EUROPE AND THE REST OF THE WORLD
The Green Reaper does not offer a delivery service outside the UK. However, you may wish to arrange your own collection by obtaining an instant online quotation with ParcelCompare using the shipping dimensions and weight detailed in most product specifications.
We do not accept payment for international orders by debit/credit card as our system is unable to verify the authenticity of overseas cards, or PayPal. We can accept payment by direct bank account deposit (not cheque). Please email email@example.com with your billing details and the product/s you wish to purchase to enable us to generate an invoice and payment request. Once payment is received, we will let you know when your order is ready for collection.
Our products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. In the event of a warranty issue, The Green Reaper will not be liable for transportation costs relating to claims whereby the goods have been delivered outside the UK mainland.
We are unable to send lithium-ion batteries or any product containing this battery by air, so please be aware that delivery any delivery cost would be at a palletised rate by road freight.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY INFORMATION
Whilst we can deliver to an alternative delivery address, please note that for your security, we may require proof of your relationship with the second address. This reduces the possibility of someone else using your card fraudulently. Our Sales Team will call you to arrange this with you.
Stock willing, we aim to dispatch goods within 24 hours of receiving the order, however, please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive. You will be contacted by email if the order is likely to take any longer. Please note: SCH products are built to order and usually delivered on their own transport so we quote a longer lead time.
An order confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address as soon as you submit the order online.
Please note that additional delivery charges may only be added at time of order processing, and will not always appear in the shopping basket or order confirmation email.
Normal delivery hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. For security reasons a signature is required to acknowledge receipt. If you know that there will be no one available to sign for your delivery, it may be preferrable to supply an alternative address for delivery.
If no one is available at the delivery address to sign for the goods, the delivery company will leave a calling card. You can simply call the number on the card quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery at a more suitable time. Alternatively, you may prefer to collect the goods from your local depot. If you are unable to take delivery and the item is subsequently returned to us, the customer is liable for the cost of returning the goods.
How to track your parcel
If you choose to register with The Green Reaper, you will receive a member registration email containing your login details. When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. You can login to your account at any time to check the status of your order - i.e. if it has been processed and despatched, etc. To login simply enter your email address and the password provided to track your order or edit your details.
If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact us using the contact form on our website. As soon as your goods are despatched, we will notify you by email the method of despatch, together with consignment details, where relevant. We will provide you with a link to our preferred courier's website so you can track your order's progress online.

Changed your mind?
If you change your mind about the product when you receive it, you can return it at any time within 7 days.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.
In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations, any product (excluding pre-assembled items such as lawn tractors, tillers, all terrain mowers,) may be returned unused and boxed in its original packing within 7 days of delivery for whatever reason. The cost of carriage to return the goods will be deducted from any refund issued.

For large pallet deliveries, please be aware that the costs to return them will be considerably higher than you are charged for delivery. We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be issued.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU WRITE OUR ADDRESS ALL OVER THE PRODUCT PACKAGING THEN THE PRODUCT MAY NOT BE IN RESALEABLE CONDITION AND YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
Checking Goods for Damage and Notifying The Green Reaper
For small item deliveries that arrive with carriers, you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 24 hours of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 24 hours we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us.
For bulky deliveries that arrive on pallets you agree to check the goods for damage before signing the driver's delivery note. If you sign for the goods, even if you write the words "Unchecked" or similar on the delivery note, then you are accepting that the goods arrived in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf, you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check.
Faulty Items Guarantee Period
All products come with a manufacturer's warranty, details of which are listed on each product page. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period, The Green Reaper will refer you to your local specialist dealer for the brand where the product will be examined by their qualified technicians and repaired in accordance with the warranty conditions. Details of your nearest warranty AND service dealer can be obtained from the manufacturer or please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any refunds due should appear on your card statement within 5-7 working days. Please note that refund times are dictated by the card issuers and are outside our control.
