The entry-level DR Premier 9.50 RS all-purpose chipper and shredder offers fantastic value for money and is designed to reduce just about any organic waste your property produces.
The machine features two separate input chutes: one for branches which get chipped and a larger one for lighter garden waste which gets shredded. If it is primarily lightweight material you deal with, and you only occasionally have branches to process, then DR Premier 9.50 RS could be then the ideal model for you.
The shredder features eight free-swinging hammers which pulverise garden waste, including leaves, garden leftovers and sticks up to ¼" thick. The shredded material is reduced to one tenth of its original volume and produces a fine organic mulch that is ideal for recycling, either by tilling into your garden or feeding your compost heap.
The chipper has the muscle to chip branches up to 3" in diameter, with its Pro-Spec™ chipper knife made of high-carbon/high-chromium forged alloy tool steel.
If you want to control the discharge and keep the work area tidy around flowerbeds or carefully maintained lawns, you can attach the durable debris collection bag by securing the drawstring around the discharge chute.
The chipper shredder is powered by an easy-starting 9.5fpt Briggs & Stratton overhead valve engine with recoil start, which features a debris management system to protect it from whatever you kick up while you're chipping and shredding.
Lightweight and portable, the DR 9.50 RS comes with built in handles for easy manoeuvring, two transport wheels with saw tooth tread and kickstand to make transition between travel and work mode easy. It's compact size lets you store it away, even where floor space is limited.
