Description

A good all-round professional brush cutter with loop handle design and 25.4cc two-stroke engine. The light weight and ultra low vibration make this an ideal brush cutter for sustained use in the clearance of long grass, weeds and brush. A high tensile steel shaft, well placed and easy to use cluster controls and heavy duty debris shield are incorporated.

The Echo SRM-2621TES/L features a high torque gear case which makes it exceptionally powerful when clearing dense grass and brush. Lower rpm with more power mean the blades cut consistently, retaining precision, whether you're trimming short grass or tall, thick brush. High torque increases the power output of the tool making it comparable to a model with a 5cm³ to 10cm³ larger engine size.

Echo's patented ES-Start system is a culmination of years of unique and innovative developments. It works to minimise the effort required to start the engine with greatly reduced pulling power and vastly reduced kick back effect. In most cases the effort required to pull the starter is reduced by up to 50% compared to standard models. A heavy-duty air filter ensures dust and debris are kept away from the internal components of the engine.

Supplied with twin line bump feed nylon head, the Echo SRM-2621TES/L is also capable of accepting metal blades for cutting through longer, denser grass and scrub. Echo's patented, revolutionary Speed Feed 400 trimmer head takes the hassle out of refilling your trimmer head by using the easiest load tap to advance head available. Speed Feed 400 reloads in under 30 seconds with just three easy steps, all without taking the head apart. Perfectly balanced for vibration-free operation, the trimmer head comes preloaded with 2.4mm line.

The 25.4cc two-stroke engine is capable of driving a full range of cutting heads, including blades, nylon heads and the HCAA-2404A hedge trimmer attachment. This brush cutter maintains high cutting performance in the most demanding environments and has become one of Echo's most popular products.

The i-start device makes first time starting of two-stroke engines a certainty, while removing 90% of the effort required. i-start stores the energy of one long and gentle pull, or two short pulls of the recoil starter and delivers it in a dynamic burst that starts the engine every time.

Denoted by the ES symbol on the power tool, Easy Start works in a different way to i-start to minimise the effort required to start the engine. With Easy Start the pulling power needed on the starter rope is greatly reduced compared to other makes, with no kick-back effect when cranking.
