The EGO Power+ ST1300E string trimmer sets a new standard in the battery-powered grass trimmer category, performing as well as, or better than, premium petrol-powered models. In runs on the industry’s most powerful battery, the first ever 56 volt lithium-ion battery, with 40% more power than the leading 40 volt battery.

The features of the EGO Power+ line trimmer include a 33cm cutting swath for efficient trimming around your garden; dual-feed, spiral twist line with a 2.0mm diameter, for professional cutting power and a bump head trimming system with easy head replacement. The twin line easily and quickly slots into the contoured eyelet which reduces nuisance breakage of the tough nylon line. Just hook, wrap and go! The exposed part of the bump feed cap is free to rotate independently which means that the cutting head can be rested on the ground during use without being worn away.

The oversized straight aluminium shaft features an adjustable loop handle for increased operator feel and manoeuvrability.

Again this tool is far better than expected. You must have it ‘running’ prior to cutting as with the other tools in this range, you can’t ‘blip’ the engine as with a petrol unit. Well put together and will hopefully last.
