Mankar-HQ 30 ULV Hand-held Sprayer

The Mankar-HQ 30 with arm support and 1 litre tank is a heavy-duty, full-featured hand-held herbicide applicator. The portable ultra low volume Mankar sprayer models are ideal for use in areas of dense cultivation, irregular row cultivations or anywhere where a high degree of flexiblity is needed.

Metering is carried out via manual adjustment on the metering valve, depending on the herbicide used. The product travels by gravitational force from the tank to the atomiser via the valve. The atomiser is activated by the push of a button, meaning that spraying is only carried out where and when needed. There is no pumping and, depending on the herbicide, you will only need to refill every two hours or so. In order to achieve uniform metering per unit of surface area (eg: l/ha), the anticipated walking speed must be considered when adjusting the valve and must be as constant as possible.

All components are integrated into the housing and well protected for maximum robustness and longevity. All materials are extremely dimensionally stable, robust and UV-resistant.

The Mankar-HQ 30 has a square spray hood and can be adjusted to deliver a spray width of between 10cm and 30cm. The hood can be rotated to allow narrower spray widths as desired. The visual flow display in the handle makes it easy to monitor how much product is being applied.

A carrying strap provides additional relieve to the arms and back. At only 2.6kg, this sprayer is lightweight, with the benefit of a forearm support making it easy to carry comfortably all day. The arm support allows many different holding positions with either hand.

Delivering eight hours of working time per battery charge, the LED on the machine turns red when it is time to recharge.

Mankar® spraying systems are professional systems for effective, environmentally responsible and yet economical weed control with herbicides or herbicide mixtures without water. Very simply Mankar sprayers generally spray neat, undiluted herbicides or pesticides. They are based on ULV (ultra low volume) and controlled droplet application (CDA) technology for optimum distribution of an extremely small amount of active product with an even droplet size.

With the Mankar ULV/CDA sprayers, you continue to spray the same chemicals, but you will use less and you don’t need to dilute them with water and lug around 20kg of extra weight in the form of the water you dilute them with. There is no need to buy specially formulated chemicals in special compatible cartridges. Just continue to use whatever it is you use now but use it neat, less of it and get the same results with less operator effort.

Mankar sprayers are unique in that they are both CDA and ULV sprayers at the same time.
