For the discerning gardener and professional user alike, there is nothing quite like a finely cut, manicured lawn - and that’s where the Masport Olympic Cylinder mower comes in. Masport has had several decades of manufacturing experience with cylinder mowers and it is with this experience and today's technology that Masport brings you the latest in precision cutting performance.

The self-propelled Olympic 500 10-bladed Golf will give the finest cut of all the models in the Masport cylinder mower range and is powered by a reliable, recoil start 163cc Briggs and Stratton engine and features a generous 50cm (20") cutting width.

The mower employs a 10-blade cutting cylinder which rotates at an impressive rate of 207 cuts per metre to achieve an immaculate lawn finish and a close cut down as low as 4mm. It's a combination of this cutting action and the front and rear rollers that will leave your lawn with a sought after "Wimbledon stripe" effect.

The Golf is equipped with a multi-section front roller and full width, steel split-differential rear roller which adds manoeuvrability and reduces the liklihood of scalping the lawn. The centrifugal clutch enables you to disengage the cutting cylinder with the engine running when moving between mowing areas.

Adjusting the height on the Masport cylinder mower is done by simply turning the adjuster on the front of the machine. As you turn the adjuster, the mower will rise and fall to a position that suits your lawn. Masport has provided a handy pointer which helps indicate the height location between 7mm and 30mm. The cut grass is propelled forward into the spacious 70 litre plastic grass collector.
