The mid-range model in Murray's zero-turn ride-on mower line up, the ZTX150 includes commercially-inspired features such as a fully welded steel frame, thick-walled front axle, easy access maintenance points and a durable steel mower deck to make sure you get a great cut.
Powered by a Briggs & Stratton Intek 7220 OHV engine, the Murray ZTX150 features electric start and hydrostatic transmission for easy ignition and a smooth ride. The adjustable seat with fatigue-reducing armrests ensures the ultimate comfort when using the machine on the roughest terrains, whilst a large 11 litre fuel tank capacity keeps you mowing for longer.
The deck is fitted with three cutting blades and anti-scalp wheels and has a 117cm (46") cutting width. The height of cut can be adjusted through 13 positions between 38mm and 110mm for the effective management of whatever length of grass you are tackling.
Literally turning 360° on its own footprint, the Murray ZTX150 is incredibly manoeuvrable and ideal for more intricately-shaped lawns, as well as grassed areas containing obstacles such as trees and flower beds. Because realigning at the end of each pass is much speedier, the mower is also much faster on open spaces and saves you considerable time when mowing in straight lines.
Speed and direction is controlled by lap bars which protrude from the left and right side onto the lap of the operator. They are very straightforward to operate: push the left one to the front and the left wheels drive forward. The farther you push it, the faster the wheel goes. Pull the bar towards you and the wheel goes backwards. You can manipulate the left and right bar independently and hence move the left and right rear wheel independently. The front caster wheels are not restrained by anything so they can spin freely 360° around and are only indirectly controlled by the rear wheels.
Versatility, agility and professional-grade construction quality leave nothing to be desired on a Murray zero-turn tractor.
