With cordless power becoming increasingly popular amongst environmentally-conscious gardeners, Weibang has taken greener mowing to the next level with this battery-powered ride-on lawn mower.

Employing the latest lithium-ion technology to power the 800 watt brushless motor, the iON 76 SD mini rider is a worthy alternative to petrol for mowing large lawns efficiently and comfortably, with the added benefits of no fuel or oil to store, minimal maintenance, zero emissions and quieter operation. Powered by the heavy duty 72V / 20Ah battery and started simply by the turn of a key, the mower can run for up to two hours on a single charge, depending on the working conditions. The charging plug is conveniently located on the side of the mower.

The smallest mini rider in the range, the Weibang iON 76 SD has been designed to deliver high performance, maximum reliability and a long working life. Featuring a powder-coated steel body and front bumper for protection, a robust gearbox delivers the efficient transfer of power to the wide 13" rear wheels, whilst a specially designed mower deck system to achieves optimum side discharge and mulching performance. Its tight 140cm turning radius ensures great manoeuvrability, which is particularly useful in gardens with obstacles to navigate around. The compact design will fit through narrow entrances and gates, perfect for gardens where access may be an issue.

The machine is equipped with a twin-bladed mower deck which provides an 76cm cutting width. The mulching cuttter deck can be converted into a side discharge function by lifting a flap on one side of the deck and inserting the chute. The cutting height is easily adjustable using the single spring-assisted lever adjacent to the driver's seat to provide 10 preset heights of cut between 25mm and 102mm.

Many of the features of the iON 76 SD, such as blade engagement, mow in reverse and cruise control, are controlled from a clear control panel located next to the driver's seat. An LCD screen also allows you to monitor such things as the battery charge status and the speed of each mower blade, whilst an audible alert and indicator on the display screen advises when the grass collector has reached capacity and needs emptying.

Variable e-drive allows the user to easily adjust the drive speed of the mower to a maximum forward speed of 5.9km/h and a nippy 5km/h in reverse, with simple pedal operation. Driver comfort is catered for in the form of a high back seat which is fully adjustable and in a raised position for maximum view of the mowing area.

Powered by the heavy duty 72V / 31Ah battery and started simply by the turn of a key, the mower can run for up to 2.5 hours on a single charge, depending on the working conditions.

The Weibang iON 81 RC has been designed to deliver high performance, maximum reliability and a long working life. Featuring a powder-coated steel body and front bumper for protection, a robust gearbox delivering the efficient transfer of power to the wide 13" rear wheels and a specially designed mower deck system to deliver optimum cutting and collection performance, the iON 81 RC will live up to expectations. Its tight 140cm turning radius ensures great manoeuvrability, which is particularly useful in gardens with obstacles to navigate around. The narrow overall width of 85cm will fit through narrow entrances and gates, perfect for gardens where access may be an issue.

The machine is equipped with a twin-bladed mower deck which provides an 81cm cutting width, combined with a spacious 190 litre grass collector which minimises the time spent emptying. Should you prefer not to collect the grass, a mulch kit is included to provide the option of mulching - simply insert the mulch plug into the rear discharge chute to activate the mulching function which will chop the clippings into finer particles and deposit them evenly on the ground to be recycled back into the soil. The cutting height is easily adjustable using the single spring-assisted lever adjacent to the driver's seat to provide ten preset heights of cut between 2.5cm and 13cm.

The iON 106 ZT is a commercial-grade zero-turn ride-on mower from Weibang powered battery technology and offering a clean, quiet and comfortable mowing experience with the agility to turn 360 degrees on its own footprint.

Easy to operate, all the controls including starter key, blade engagement and hour meter are close at hand to the driver's seat. The LCD screen provides information about remaining battery capacity, accumulated working time, wheel speed and the status of safety switches.

The mower features two motion-control lap bar levers to more precisely control the steering and forward and reverse drive. The more you push the steering levers forward, the faster the mower will go. With a cutting speed of 8km per hour, this nippy zero-turn mower can reach about twice the speed of traditional lawn tractors and ride-on mowers, with the added benefit of excellent manoeuvrability around obstacles and in difficult to reach areas.

The Weibang iON 106 ZT employs four powerful brushless motors - one motor on each of the two blades to give plenty of power and torque to handle the conditions of the British lawn, and one on each of the left and right rear wheels to drive the machine.

The charging unit connects into the rear of the machine and plugs into a standard UK 3-pin plug. Due to the size of the 72V 75Ah battery, it does take around 18 hours to fully charge which, considering the mower will cut up to 6,000 square metres, will cover two acres on a single battery charge.

The 106cm (42") cutter deck gives you the option to side discharge the grass clippings or, for more formal areas, simply insert the mulch plug to finely chop and recycle them back down into the lawn. The large range of the height of cut can be adjusted from the comfort of the driver's seat through ten stages from as low as 15mm right up to 115mm.

Highly manoeuvrable, the iON 106 ZT has two heavy duty front caster wheels to help achieve that 0cm inner turning radius. Standard turf tyres at the rear of this agile mower provide plenty of grip without damaging the lawn when performing those 360 degree turns.

Comfort is all part of the ride thanks to the wide adjustable seat which incorporates a seat belt to hold you securely in place when going over rougher, uneven ground. Two integral cup holders will accommodate a drink or two to keep you hydrated while mowing.
