ABOUT EGO POWER PLUS.....
EGO is part of a global manufacturing business established in 1993. Theyย are proud to have brought you the first line of cordless outdoor equipmentย with the power and performance of petrol, but without the noise, fuss, and fumes.
EGO Power+ was officially launched in the United States in 2012 and quickly became the country's #1 rated battery outdoor power equipment brand, changing the nature of lawn and garden equipment forever. EGO was launched in Europe in 2014 and has since experienced incredible growth. EGO is now available extensively throughout Europe. EGO's ever-increasing range of products are split across three core ranges: Power+ , Power+ Professional and Pro X, enabling EGO to provide suitable tools to domestic, commercial and specialist users alike.ย
By 2020, EGO had become an established brand worldwide. They are the go-to for millions of domestic, commercial and specialist customers who want exceptional cordless performance from a manufacturer that is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation whilst supporting good environmental practices.ย
EGO's patented technology truly delivers Power Beyond Belief - and the proof is in the thousands of enthusiastic reviews from real customers.
ย
THE MOST TECHNICALLY ADVANCED BATTERY SYSTEM IN THE BUSINESSย
A breakthrough in every way, EGO is powered by the industry's first 56 volt lithium-ion battery. This means the entire Power+ line up - lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, line trimmers, blowers and chainsaws - has been designed to deliver a new level of performance. Plus EGO lasts longer, charges in just 30 minutes, is intuitive, quiet and dependable. It provides all the power you need to get the job done right.
EGO are the cordless specialists and the ground-breaking technology used within their cordless system bears this out. It begins with the industry's first 56 volt lithium-ion powered battery. Unlike other battery packs, which are shaped like bricks and retain heat (which is detrimental to the performance of li-ion battery's), it follows our patented "arc" design which ensures that more of our battery cells are adjacent to the external housing, keeping them cooler for longer, ensuring greater performance in even the toughest of tasks. That's power beyond belief!
Benefits of the EGO range include:-
- The industry's first 56 volt lithium-ion powered battery
- Fully recharge your battery in 30 minutes
- A new level of cordless performance
- All the power of petrol machines
- Intuitive, quiet, dependable and reliable
EGO's COMMITMENT TO A GREENER ENVIRONMENT
EGOโs commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for todayโs switched-on customers. Their desire to create a greener future isnโt limited to the products they develop, it also pervades the ways they operate and the places they work.
In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.
Known as โThe Blue Roofโ, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.
EGO's passion for improving the environment wonโt stop here. This is only the beginning.
As part of EGO's commitment, EGO have partnered with the Eden Reforestation Projects and pledge to plant a tree for every EGO tool sold in Europe and in addition, each tool that is registered for extended warranty.
