Cobra Fortis 25" Verticut Cartridge

This verticutter is designed to 'vertically' cut the lawn, which increases turf density and is important for gardening perfectionists and those wishing to develop fine turf, such as on bowling and golf greens. 

The thin, closely spaced, hardened steel tines are backwards inclined and remove lateral growth and moss to allow the lawn a healthier growth pattern. The 25" verticut cassette is ideal for controlling thatch by removing the dead and dying grass which would otherwise contribute to the layer of thatch. It also provides a useful method of controlling weeds and coarse weed grasses that lie flat in the sward. The cartridge will promote the growth of upright grass which will be easier and cleaner to cut with either a six or 10 blade cartridge.

Designed to fit the Cobra Fortis 25B cylinder mower for use between April and October, the box includes an allen key for the minor tooling required to switch over the cartridges.

NB: This cartridge is designed to fit the Cobra Fortis range and is NOT compatible with any other brand of cylinder mower.

A major technological breakthrough in lawn care came with the birth of the quick exchange concept, which is key to Cobra's range of cylinder mowers. 

One of the biggest innovations in the world of cylinder lawn mowing for several decades, it is a system which allows you to remove the cylinder blades from the mower quickly and easily as a complete cassette. You can then either have the blades re-ground or simply replace them with a new cutting cassette. This makes maintenance of your cylinder mower much easier and prolongs its life. 

The second major benefit of the cartridge system is the versatility it offers, allowing you to easily convert your mower to suit different lawn maintenance tasks. The cutting blade cassette can be simply removed and replaced by one of the following lawn care cartridge attachments:-

• Verticut
• Scarifier
• Dethatcher
• Aerator
• Lawn brush
• 10-blade cassette
