For serious clean-up operations that need big power, the EGO Power+ LBPX8000 professional battery-powered backpack blower really packs a punch with its hugely powerful yet ergonomic design. Its commercial-grade construction is built for 5X longer life with UV-resistant composite housing and IPX5-rated weather resistance for all-day professional use in the toughest conditions.

Activate Peak Power™ Technology combines the power of two EGO batteries for maximum output and runtime making clearing work faster. Designed with an improved user interface, control system and newer, more powerful motor, the LBPX8000 takes intuitive, comfortable and efficient working to the next level.

As the machine has the ability to blow over 1360 cubic metres of air per hour on turbo boost mode, leaves and debris won't stand a chance.

The EGO Power+ LBPX8000 backpack blower has the added advantage of a three-speed design, so you can select between low, high and boost modes. The ergonomically designed handle houses the speed trigger and trigger lock, as well as an LCD display screen showing real-time operating status and battery fuel gauge. The LBPX8000 also has a larger brushless motor which means high volumes of air an speed.

Thanks to the flexible bellows tube and comfortable harness system with adjustable straps, the leaf blower is both manoeuvrable and easy to use. For even greater control, the blower tube length can be adjusted to how long or short you’d like it, and the same can be done on the handle for better reach. It also has significantly lower vibration compared to its petrol-powered equivalents - plus produces less noise.

Forming part of the new generation of EGO Power+ Pro X tools, the LBPX8000 also features IoT with BLE connectivity built in. Bluetooth connectivity allows the user to monitor machine performance as well as to ensure the batteries are charged and ready for blowing.

EGO’s commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for today’s switched-on customers. In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.

Known as ‘The Blue Roof’, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.
