Unlike other battery packs, which are shaped like bricks and retain heat (which is detrimental to the performance of li-ion battery's), it follows our patented "arc" design which ensures that more of our battery cells are adjacent to the external housing, keeping them cooler for longer, ensuring greater performance in even the toughest of tasks. EGO's COMMITMENT TO A GREENER ENVIRONMENT

EGO’s commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for today’s switched-on customers. Their desire to create a greener future isn’t limited to the products they develop, it also pervades the ways they operate and the places they work.

In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.

Known as ‘The Blue Roof’, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.

For domestic users EGO Power+ offers a five year warranty on all tools and a three year warranty on batteries, when registered within 30 days of purchase.

Professional user

EGO Power+ offers professional users a three year warranty on the Professional-X range, and a two year warranty on the Professional range when tools are registered within 30 days of purchase.
