From reputable Italian manufacturers Fort, this commercial-duty field and brush rotary mower has been designed to take down heavily overgrown grass, weeds and nettles.

Providing the power needed to tackle such dense vegetation is a Briggs & Stratton 850 Series air-cooled four-stroke engine that's rated at an impressive 4.8hp. The machine features a chain-driven transmission and four-speed gearbox (three forward and one reverse speed) which enhances manoeuvrability and offers a suitable forward speed for every eventuality. The blade brake clutch disengages the blade and stops it turning, without shutting off the engine.

The Fort HWM 65R has a 66cm (26") deck which is height adjustable between 40mm and 90mm and has front and side safety deflectors to protect against flying debris.

Large pneumatic chevron tread tyres roll easily over the rough terrain, whilst the two front caster wheels allow the brush cutter more mobility when being turned. The height and lateral adjustable handlebar provides an ergonomic working postion.

ABOUT FORT.....

Tradition that follows the future, Fort.

Fort was funded in the 1970s by a group of Italian artisans and it first entered the market producing small agricultural machineries such as rotary tillers and diesel-powered walking tractors for the cultivation of agricultural lands and vineyard upkeep.

The company reached its first turning point right while designing walking tractors: they almost immediately had a great success thanks to the converging of technology, quality and expertise Fort gained directly working on the field.

Fort made a great qualitative leap in the 1980s, addressing also construction industry and widening its product range. It began designing and producing minitransporters, vans with bumper, tracked vehicles and small scrapers for earth tilling, besides many accessories to cling such as: frontal bars for earth movement, ploughshares and plows, towed trailers, barrel trolleys, grass mulcher, brush with collector, snowplow, leaf collector, and more.

During last years, Fort has widened its range of products with niche items addressed to small farmers and nurserymen. Moreover, Fort reserved a part of its operative structure to the creation of electric machines in order to support eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture and to avoid harmful emissions.
