Recycling is a relatively new phenomenon to the UK, gaining popularity over the last few years due to a combination of environmental concerns and the desire for a simpler way to mow garden lawns.
In response to this trend, Italian brand Oleo-Mac has added specialised mulching lawn mowers to its line up which can be hugely beneficial to the condition of your lawn.
The Oleo-Mac G 48 PK SD does not come with a grass collector. Instead it recirculates and recuts the grass clippings under its specially designed steel mowing deck to produce a fine mulch. This mulch is forcibly returned to the lawn surface where it rapidly decomposes, returning precious nutrients back to the soil. If you have long grass to tackle, you can choose to discharge the clippings via the side deflector and deposit them in neat rows to the right of the lawn mower. Both of these cutting methods will deliver a considerable increase in productivity compared to collection.
The Oleo-Mac G 48 PK SD lawn mower is powered by a 140cc Emak K600A engine with recoil start. Weighing just 24kg and being hand-propelled with ball bearing wheels, the machine is easy to control and manoeuvre around the garden and obstacles in the lawn. Featuring a cutting width of 46cm (18"), the height of cut can be adjusted through four preset positions from 28mm to 75mm via individuals on each wheel so you can adapt to the mowing conditions.
Covered by a five year manufacturer's warranty, the handlebars on the mower fold for easy transport and compact storage.
