The Premium 520 VS-B has been developed by AL-KO in Germany and manufactured in Austria to offer the highest build quality and modern design, ideally suited larger lawns of around 1,800m².

The AL-KO Premium 520 VS-B is powered by an easy starting, high performance Briggs & Stratton Series 675 EX ReadyStart 163cc engine with recoil start. Because the machine benefits from self-propulsion with variable speed drive you'll enjoy stepless speed control at a pace you find most comfortable and which best suits the grass length and the terrain-type you are tackling. The ergonomic controls are conveniently located in the exclusive cockpit.

With a generous cutting width of 51cm, the cutting height can be adjusted centrally between 30mm and 80mm via seven pre-set stages to suit the mowing conditions and desired finish of cut.

The AL-KO Premium 520 VS-B mower features an aerodynamically optimised deck whereby the new, extra tall steel-plate cutter deck, extra-wide discharge chute and unique MaxAirflow technology combine to achieve considerably improved airflow and catching performance. Thick and tall grass can be mowed efficiently, without leaving clumps of grass on the ground or blocking the discharge chute.

The generous 70 litre three-piece grass catcher is easy to assemble and fills more effectively thanks to the shortened design. With fewer stops to empty, the new EasyClick collector mounts ensure added back protection and no risk of trapped fingers.

AL-KO's 4-in-1 function gives the 520 VS-B e the ability to mow without collection, with collection, side discharge or the increasingly popular method of mulching. Each function can be easily selected without the need for tools.

The large diameter, wide tread wheels with ball bearings provide excellent manoeuvrability, operator comfort is ensured thanks to the ergonomic control layout on the handlebars.

When it comes to space-saving storage, AL-KO has come up with a clever solution. Its new handle concept and integrated standing storage position means the mower can be easily and quickly stored away all year round.

This is because the extra tall steel plate deck and extra large discharge channel increase the airflow by 42 per cent. As a result, the grass clippings are not transported at a low level into the grass catcher as in the case of most standard lawnmowers, but are instead thrown backwards in a high arc and remain at the back. This means the grass catcher is effectively filled from the back, without the discharge channel becoming blocked. Another bonus: The removable service flap for convenient mower maintenance. Full Catcher, Fewer Interruptions MaxAirflow technology means that the lawn clippings are thrown to the back of the grass catcher, as a result of which it is filled to the top and does not have to be emptied so often. All machines come with a two year warranty, following this machines have an extended warranty depending on the range and annual servicing by an authorised AL-KO dealer.
